Who We Are
The George Spady Centre is an inner city non-profit agency incorporated under the Societies Act. The Centre has been in operation since 1983 and offers a number of basic services: coffee drop-in, overnight shelter (for people under the influence of alcohol or drugs), detoxification unit, referral services to treatment programs.
Mission Statement

To offer a safe, caring and non-judgmental environment to people who are negatively affected by alcohol and drug use, and to encourage them to stabilize and restore their health.
Vision
The George Spady Centre is recognized as an exemplar agency in the provision of detox treatment and recovery services, particularly to those who are marginalized by society. Clients have immediate access to the treatment and support services they need to reduce harm, improve health and overcome homelessness.
